About this creekside mixed-use community

Dubai Festival City is a mixed-use community on the eastern bank of Dubai Creek, developed by Al-Futtaim Real Estate, the real estate development and operations arm of Al-Futtaim Group. The developer describes it as blending residential, commercial and lifestyle uses, with residences, shopping, dining, leisure, hotels, schools, a golf course, an automotive park and office space, arranged across three districts with a creekside promenade. In June 2012, The National reported that Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate had begun selling freehold townhouses at Al Badia Residences. The developer describes a mix of villas and apartments that blend traditional and contemporary architecture. Al Badia Residences has Mediterranean-style townhouses and apartments, with gardens and covered parking or garages for the townhouses and private terraces and balconies for the apartments. Al Badia Hillside is an apartment development inspired by Mediterranean hillside villages. Al Badia Living has one to four bedroom apartments. In January 2026, Al-Futtaim Real Estate announced Al Badia Villas, a leasing project of 107 homes with three to five bedrooms set among three hectares of parks, with a children's play area, an outdoor fitness park, cycling tracks and dog-friendly walking trails. The RTA Bus Route List, retrieved 2026-09-21, shows routes F08 and 24 each running between Dubai Festival City and Al Nahda 2.
