About this parkside freehold community
Wasl 1 is a freehold master development by Wasl in Al Kifaf, overlooking Zabeel Park. The developer places it in Al Kifaf within the Zabeel district, and describes Al Kifaf as a central residential area between old and new Dubai. In October 2017, Gulf News reported that the first phase of Wasl 1 was on sale, with four towers set on a shared podium and 746 apartments, and named the developer as wasl Asset Management Group. That first phase is Park Gate Residences. The developer describes it as one, two and three bedroom apartments alongside podium townhouses and penthouses. In January 2021, Gulf News described wasl Properties as government-owned. Another building, 1 Residences, is described by the developer as a freehold development of one, two and three bedroom apartments and three bedroom duplexes. In October 2023, the Dubai Media Office described 1 Residences as a residential tower within the Wasl1 master development and a mixed-use development of 753 units, with two swimming pools, two gymnasiums, a podium courtyard, children's play areas, barbecue pits and a rooftop running track. The developer lists shared amenities across Wasl 1 including a swimming pool, a gym, a kids' play area, gardens, CCTV monitoring and covered parking.
