About this low-rise residential community
The Greens is a residential community that its developer places alongside Sheikh Zayed Road. The developer presents it together with the neighboring Views as one master community, and the community-management site gives the pair 62 buildings and 6,156 homes. The RTA names The Greens among the ten residential and development areas served by its Hessa Street project, which the same authority describes as running 4.5 km between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. A 2020 press report records that Emaar Properties first launched The Greens in 2001, and says it is part of the Emirates Living community, which also includes the Springs and the Meadows. The same report says the initial phase consisted of 40 low-rise residential buildings divided into 10 clusters, and that these apartment blocks have five floors. Dubai's government media office has named The Greens among the areas covered by the city's bike-sharing service. The nearest Dubai Metro station is Dubai Internet City on the Red Line, which the RTA lists as station R34, and feeder buses F31 and F35 connect that station with The Greens.
