About this residential community
Barsha Heights is a residential area in Dubai, and the RTA names it among the ten residential and development areas served by its Hessa Street project. The area was formerly known as Tecom, and press reports from June 2016 record that the name changed to Barsha Heights. One of those reports identifies TECOM Group as the area's developer, and another records that its neighbor across Sheikh Zayed Road was renamed Sufouh Gardens at the same time. The RTA describes Hessa Street as running 4.5 km between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. The same authority says the 13.5 km cycling and e-scooter track along Hessa Street links Al Sufouh to Dubai Hills, serves Barsha Heights, and connects to Dubai Internet City Metro Station. The RTA extended its Bus-On-Demand service to Barsha Heights in March 2025. The nearest Dubai Metro station is Dubai Internet City on the Red Line, which the RTA lists as station R34 and which stands on Sheikh Zayed Road between Barsha Heights and Dubai Internet City.
