About this science free zone community
Dubai Science Park is a free zone community operated by TECOM Group, which describes it as serving the entire value chain of the science, health and pharma sectors. DuBiotech, the Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park, was set up in 2005, and EnPark, the Energy and Environment Park, followed in 2007 as a sister organisation within it. The National reported that EnPark had attracted companies in the renewable energy and environment sectors. In October 2015, The National reported that Tecom was merging the two to create a single Dubai Science Park brand, which is why DuBiotech still appears as an older name for the area. TECOM Group describes Dubai Science Park as designed to nurture entrepreneurs, SMEs and MNEs in the energy and environment businesses. In February 2026, the free zone said the district is home to customers across the life, energy and environment sciences. Its own pages list commercial spaces, laboratories, light industrial units and warehouses, and describe business, retail and residential options, with nurseries and parks, plus skate parks, sports parks and gyms in and around the community. The free zone describes its Laboratory Complex as LEED-certified, with medicine, perfumery and F&B labs. The free zone names Villa Lantana as part of its residential area.
