Arjan is a freehold community inside the larger Dubailand master plan, managed by Dubai Holding Community Management. The community manager describes it as a mixed-use neighborhood blending residential, commercial and recreational spaces, and publishes figures of 63 plots and around 18,700 residents. Businesses in Arjan give their addresses as Al Barsha South, one of the areas the RTA's Umm Suqeim Street improvement project serves, running 4.6 km between Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. Dubai Butterfly Garden gives its address as Al Barsha South 3, Dubailand, beside Dubai Miracle Garden. The RTA station map lists no Dubai Metro station in Arjan, and the RTA runs metro feeder bus F36 between Arjan and Mall of the Emirates, which is a Red Line station.
