About this mediterranean-inspired villa and townhouse community
Damac Lagoons is a master community developed by DAMAC Properties. The developer describes it as a master community inspired by the Mediterranean, and locates it along Hessa Street, opposite Damac Hills. The developer says its original residential collection includes four and five bedroom townhouses alongside villas, with configurations varying between clusters. In November 2021, Khaleej Times reported that DAMAC Properties had launched Damac Lagoons as a new master community project adjacent to the Damac Hills community, and Gulf News reported that the land for it had been bought earlier that year. In May 2022, The National reported that DAMAC was launching two more clusters, Venice and Malta, following Santorini, Costa Brava, Nice and Portofino. The same report described Damac Lagoons as a water-inspired development. In October 2022, Gulf News reported that the project was being built on land that had been desert, and quoted a DAMAC executive saying that water is the core theme of the project. In December 2022, Khaleej Times reported the launch of an Ibiza cluster and described Damac Lagoons as DAMAC's third master community development in Dubai.
