About this master planned community
Tilal Al Ghaf is a mixed-use master planned community in Dubai, developed by Majid Al Futtaim. The National reported on 19 April 2018 that Majid Al Futtaim had unveiled plans for the community, and the company described it as its entry to the Dubai residential property sector. The same report says the name was inspired by the Ghaf tree, a symbol of local heritage and sustainability. According to the developer, the community is spread over three million square metres at the junction of Hessa Street and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street, and it neighbours Victory Heights and Jumeirah Golf Estates. The National placed it near Dubai Sports City. Homes are grouped into named neighbourhoods. The developer describes Harmony as a collection of four, five and six bedroom villas, and Elan as three and four bedroom duplex townhouses. Majid Al Futtaim said in February 2020 that it had released Elan townhouses for sale the previous month. In November 2024, Majid Al Futtaim opened a mosque in the community in partnership with Dubai's Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.
