About this mixed-use community
Dubai Production City is a business district that TECOM Group created in 2003 and operates today. TECOM Group describes it as a hub for the region's light industries, covering production, printing, publishing and packaging, with showrooms, storage and logistics space. TECOM Group places the district in its Media Cluster, alongside Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City. In June 2024 the Dubai Media Office described the district as home to multiple printing presses. The district's own community page describes a residential community of apartments alongside that business and retail space, and publishes a 2 km running track among its shared facilities. The same page names schools and mosques among the facilities residents can reach, and describes health and wellness facilities within the community. The community also appears in Dubai Land Department records under its former name, International Media Production Zone. In March 2014, under that former name, The National described the district as a 43 million square foot mixed-use site. No Dubai Metro station stands in Dubai Production City or under that former name, and RTA runs its feeder bus route F34 between the community and Dubai Internet City Metro Station on the Red Line.
