About this mixed-use master community
Downtown Jebel Ali is a mixed-use master community located along Sheikh Zayed Road. The National described Downtown Jebel Ali in February 2010 as a business and residential centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. Its master developer is Limitless. The National reported in June 2015 that the project was launched in November 2006 and that it has more than 300 development plots covering 200 hectares of land. Gulf News reported in December 2006 that the development consists of four zones, and that zones 1 and 2 sold within days of launch to investors, predominantly local and international developers. In July 2010, The National reported that about 250 plots had been taken up by subdevelopers with the remit to build homes, offices and shops, while Limitless provided the land and infrastructure. The National reported in November 2013 that Limitless had completed work on four buildings at The Galleries in Downtown Jebel Ali. Gulf News reported in June 2016 that four completed office towers make up part of The Galleries development.
