About this villa and apartment community
The Sustainable City is a residential community built by Diamond Developers, which Khaleej Times reported in May 2015 was acting as master developer on the project. The community's own website lists it as owned by SEE Holding, a group the site says was established in January 2020. According to that site, a 46-hectare plot in Dubailand was acquired for the project in June 2012, and construction began in March 2014 with foundations laid for 500 villas. Gulf News reported in December 2022 that the development holds 500 villas and 89 apartments. Facilities listed on the community's Dubai page include a school, a nursery, clinics, a mosque, an equestrian centre with a horse track, cycling and jogging tracks, multiple pools, a gym, a dog park, play areas, a central green spine, eleven biodomes with community gardens for residents, and retail and food outlets. The community's website records that Diamond Developers was founded in 2003. The RTA runs metro feeder bus F32 between The Sustainable City and Mall of the Emirates, which is a Red Line station.
