Al Barari is a residential community in Dubai whose name, according to its developer, is rooted in the Arabic word for wilderness. The developer states that it was founded by Zaal Mohamed Zaal in 2005, and Gulf News described it in November 2015 as a community developed by the Zaals. Homes in the community range from villas to apartments. The developer describes its apartments as contemporary living in low-rise buildings, from studios to penthouses. The developer states that more than half of the community is preserved as green space, with themed gardens and flowing water, and describes a landscape of botanical gardens, lakes and walkways. Its site lists a health club, a spa, a playground, and retail and dining within the community. Al Barari Community Management publishes community rules for residents, including rules on resale and on modifications to homes. The developer's retail pages also list a supermarket, a pharmacy, a children's nursery, a medical centre and veterinary care.
